Lawyer Profiles Phyleccia Reed Cole Phyleccia grew up in Alton, Illinois, and graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Accounting. She then moved to New York City, and worked for several years at a grassroots community-based organization that provided housing and supportive services to persons with HIV/AIDS and addiction. Phyleccia earned her M.S.W. at New York University. After practicing as a licensed social worker in Madison County Illinois, Phyleccia returned to law school, and graduated from Washington University School of Law in 1999. Phyleccia was an Associate at Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin, until her practice group left the firm. Since that time, Phyleccia has been an associate at what is now Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan and Jackstadt P.C., practicing primarily in the areas of employment law and education law. In addition to being an executive committee member of the Mound City Bar Association, Phyleccia is a BAMSL YLD executive committee member, a Project Angel Tree committee member, and a member of the AIDS Foundation of St. Louis grants committee. Phyleccia is also active with the Washington University Black Alumni Council, and is a founding board member of The Teleios Project. Firm: Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan
